Workers’ Compensation

Tricia G. Bellich has extensive experience handling workers’ compensation and employment law matters through the appellate level in the states of Indiana and Illinois. She is a frequent speaker throughout the country for various companies and organizations concerning claims handling, workers’ compensation practice issues, employment law concerns and workplace safety practices. Tricia possesses a unique knowledge of risk management strategies which she frequently lectures on to assist our clients. Tricia has also handled civil litigation matters including premises liability, automobile liability, medical malpractice and products liability. Tricia has substantial trial experience with numerous bench and jury trials throughout Indiana.

In addition, Tricia has a focused interest in employment, business and construction law. She is the former President of Bellsom Electric, Inc., a Certified Women’s Business Enterprise (W.B.E.), in Indiana and Illinois. Bellsom’s projects have included the Horseshoe Casino $500 million dollar new vessel, Ameristar total vessel remodel, Majestic Pavilion Renovation and Gary/Chicago parking lot expansion. Bellsom has also partnered in projects with Lake County, Indiana, the City of Gary and Hammond Marina. Committed to safety in the workplace, Bellsom is a PICS certified contractor. During law school, Tricia served as the law clerk for the Honourable Jeffery J. Dywan, Lake County, Indiana Superior Court.

Tricia has also served as panel counsel for General Motors, LLC focusing on breach of warranty claims in Indiana and Illinois. She was selected as an honored speaker at the 20th Annual National Workers Compensation and Disability Conference and Expo in Las Vegas in November 2011.

Tricia is an active member in the local community with a passion for establishing partnerships between local business and charitable organizations. She is very active in various charitable organizations including God’s Groceries, a food pantry she has supported for many years.
